The Verve lança edição comemorativa do álbum “Urban Hymns”

Em comemoração aos vinte anos do disco “Urban Hymns”, o The Verve anunciou o lançamento de uma edição especial para o terceiro e mais importante trabalho dos caras. A versão da edição comemorativa será lançada oficialmente dia 1º de setembro.

Ela chegará em dois formatos: um box com 5 CDs e 1 DVD, e também em uma edição com seis LPs. O áudio foi totalmente remasterizado e o material traz inúmeras faixas extras espalhadas por quatro CDs, incluindo b-sides, remixes, músicas ao vivo e sessões para a BBC.

Já o DVD traz o documentário The Video 96-98, até então inédito no formato, e os clipes para as faixas do álbum. O box vem com um livro de capa dura com 56 páginas, poster e cartões postais.

A edição em vinil conta com seis LPs que trazem a maioria das músicas presentes na versão em CD, com três álbuns duplos com capas gatefold.

As faixas que ficaram de fora da edição em LP são as registradas no BBC Evening Session (que estão no CD 3), além de doze canções ao vivo (do CD 5). Um encarte de vinte páginas vem com a edição em vinil e um cartão de download que dá acesso a todo o conteúdo presente na versão em CD.

Será lançada também uma edição em CD duplo, com o álbum original no disco 1 e o CD 2 com uma seleção de músicas ao vivo, b-sides e remixes.
